Thank you for choosing Lone Star Hosting as your web hosting provider. Please read these terms of service carefully as they set forth the legally binding terms and conditions governing your use of our hosting services ("Services").

 

Description of Services

Lone Star Hosting provides web hosting services that allow you to store and access your website on our servers. Our Services include but are not limited to server space, bandwidth, email hosting, and domain registration.

 

Acceptable Use

You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with this Agreement. You may not use our Services to transmit, distribute, store, or otherwise make available any content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringing on any intellectual property rights. You may not engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts our Services or servers.

 

Account Registration

In order to use our Services, you must create an account and provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.

 

Account and Server Security

We take security seriously and protect the server from malware and hacks, but customers are responsible for their own cPanel and account security. Customers must use strong passwords, enable two-factor authentication, and keep their software up to date. Individual cPanel securith is the responsibility of the customer. We reserve the right to quarantine or remove any suspected malware, phishing, or other content that violates these terms.

 

Introductory rate, renewal and pricing

All plans include an introductory rate based on the specified renewal term. The introductory rate will only be available during the initial term at which point the plan will renew at the regular rate. This applies to all plans and each plan and term will have a different associated introductory rate and price. Reach out to sales if you have further questions via chat or contact Sales

 

Payment and Fees

You agree to pay all fees associated with your use of our Services, including but not limited to monthly hosting fees, domain registration fees, and additional fees for additional services. Fees are due and payable up to 14 days before the renewal date when using Auto pay. Renewal dates are based on date of purchase and term length. Failure to pay fees on time may result in suspension or termination of your account.

 

Refunds

Hosting plans are eligible for refund within the first 30 days of purchase. Renewals are eligible for refund up to 14 days after payment. Domain names are not eligble for refunds. Refunds will not be provided for unused time on services outside the moneyback guarantee.

 

Backups and Data Loss

We do not guarantee the availability or integrity of any data stored on our servers. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of all data stored on our servers. Customers must maintain their own backups in the event of failure, hacks, malware, or other data loss. We recommend that customers regularly back up their data and keep multiple copies of backups in different locations.

 

Termination and Suspension

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time without notice for any reason, including but not limited to violation of this Agreement or excessive resource usage. This includes accounts held in violation of these terms of service or due to excessive resource usage, repeat hacks, and malware. Customers are responsible for their account activity and must ensure that they comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Customer Privacy

We do not sell customer data or information to third-party service providers. All customer information is kept secure and private and may be used to offer or up-sell additional services and products from Lone Star Hosting. All Customer data is deleted 16 days after account cancellation or termination or upon request to [email protected] or when cancelled through the customer portal

 

User Accounts

By creating an account and using our services, you agree to these terms of service. Lone Star Hosting reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without notice. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for any changes.

 

Intellectual Property

You represent and warrant that you have the right to use any content that you upload to our servers. We do not claim ownership of any content that you upload to our servers.

 

Disclaimer of Warranties

We make no representations or warranties regarding the availability, reliability, or security of our Services. Our Services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

 

Limitation of Liability

We will not be liable for any damages arising from your use of our Services, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or any other direct, indirect, or consequential damages.

 

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our Services, including but not limited to any claims of intellectual property infringement.

 

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.

Lone Star Hosting will comply with local and federal law enforcement investigations to the fullest extent. We will cooperate with law enforcement agencies and provide any necessary information, including customer data and account information, to assist with their investigations.

 

Changes to the Agreement

We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time without notice. You agree to be bound by any changes to this Agreement when you use our Services.

 

Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Lone Star Hosting regarding your use of our Services. Any terms and conditions on your purchase order or other document that conflict with this Agreement are null and void.

 

Abuse and Complaints

Abuse complaints must be sent to [email protected]. Legal, DMCA, and other complaints must be sent to [email protected]. We will comply with local and federal law enforcement investigations to the fullest extent.

 

Security and Prohibited Content

We take security seriously and protect the server from malware and hacks, but customers are responsible for their own cPanel and account security. Pornographic content, defamatory content, content harmful to minors or any protected class, abusive, illegal, or otherwise harmful content is strictly prohibited. This includes purposeful phishing, malware, viruses, bugs, or Trojans and Denial of Service attacks. Denial of service attacks can result in legal repercussions, and the website account holder can be held responsible for any damages by Lone Star Hosting or any 3rd party involved if the customer's account is the initiator of the attack.

 

Support and Account Service

We agree to assist and support you, your account, and hosting needs with anything that is within our scope of support. Please bear in mind that we match energies. We ask that you keep it calm, cool and collected during interactions with Lone Star Hosting.
